The Domaine de La Bageatière is located in Lépin-le-lac , a commune on the south shore of Lake Aiguebelette , part of the Chartreuse Regional Natural Park .
Lake Aiguebelette is famous for its pure turquoise waters (motorboats are prohibited) which can reach 28° East at the foot of the Epine Mountain and the cliffs of Mont Grêle.
On the other side of the Montagne de l'Epine, which borders the lake, is Chambéry, the Lac du Bourget (15 min. away) and the Lac d'Annecy (35 min. away), the first and second largest natural lakes in France, respectively.
Our house is an ideal starting point for exploring and discovering the many natural, cultural and leisure sites in the Rhône-Alpes region.
